The Magnolia Beautification Committee
The Magnolia Beautification Committee – or MBC – is a volunteer group of professionals who have decades of experience and knowledge in an array of professions related to community development. The committee includes architects, landscape architects, professional fundraisers, arborists, gardening specialists, business owners, community organizers, financial experts, and leadership of the Magnolia Chamber of Commerce.

Developing the beautification plans on behalf of the Magnolia Chamber of Commerce
Seeking public input and stakeholder engagement with the Magnolia community and businesses
Working collaboratively with the city of Seattle for review of beautification plans
Seeking qualified contractors, overseeing installations, implementing the approved permits required for the project – Phase 1 came in on budget, on time and was completed in June 2020
Seeking public and private funding for each of the five phases of the beautification project and developing and managing maintenance activities
Securing ongoing maintenance funding forever
